About Our Council
Msgr. Willett Council was founded in 1981 through the efforts of a dedicated group of charter members, ten of whom are still current members. It is named after Monsignor James Willett, who was one of the early Pastors of Saints Peter and Paul Church in Hopkinsville. The Msgr. Willett Council still works closely with the Sts. Peter & Paul Parish, providing funds and a tremendous amount of volunteer manpower for various projects.

Father Michael J. McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus in 1882.  Through the Knights of Columbus, Father McGivney gave Catholic laymen a new opportunity – the chance to grow in holiness while contributing to their parishes, communities and security of their families. Today, more and more Church leaders are recognizing his spiritual genius in animating the laity.  Join the Father McGivney Guild, and support his cause for canonization.
